OK let's travel back about two months in time, envisage that crap sort of shimmering effect that you'd get on telly, myself and Rob were riding his woods and were complaining that we couldn't ride certain bits, nadgery step up, odd little bits, odd rocky bits phase us, so we decided a skills day with Ed Oxley at Great Rock was the way to go. Moving forward in time to yesterday, after an early start we were in Hebden Bridge to meet Ed and in time for Breakfast, bumping in to a friend in Mooch was a fabulous way to start what was going to be a fun day totally unexpected as well.Our day started with a push up the Buttress to Blue Pig and despite my front wheel encountering a pile of dog chod it was a fairly painless way to gain height quickly, the mornings training was to take place on Blue Pig, it quickly became clear that I've been riding everything not very well for a very long time, so I think the first hour of the day was spent just improving stance on the bike looking ahead and being show how to shift weight properly, actually the ...  Read the rest of the entry...

Well that was grim eight and a half miles home in the pouring rain, not just drizzle but pouring rain for a grey miserable sky, autumn really is here. Still mudguards and event 3/4s made it just abour bearable, I guess that this really is the direct consequence of me cleaning the Condor on Sunday. Wow it's been ages since I've written anything here possibly a testament to how busy/lazy I've been, well after a rubbishly busy summer at work the Autum see's things calm down a bit.
